The Oath is a collaborative storytelling game for one Game Moderator and three players. A three hour one-shot should focus on one scenario. Otherwise I think it can be played like an episodic campaign for about three hours each session, until the group decides there are no more interesting character growth/interaction to explore.

This is a wuxia-themed hack of John Harper's Lady Blackbird (updated to match its 2019 edition), with the added Entanglement mechanic from Lowell Francis's Hearts of Wulin. It has not been playtested.
